Not Related to Business Objects in Any Way…

Categories: General Dave Rathbun @ 8:16 pm

I apologize for deviating from my normal content, but I had to share this. Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly) is going to release a new musical… online! If you are a Buffy fan and remember the musical number (from season 4, I think) then you have to see this. It looks great… they have Neil Patrick Harris as the mad scientist, and Nathon Fillion as the superhero.

The teaser goes something like this:

For every day… there is a night.
For every world… there is an underworld
And for every hero… there is…. this guy?

This should be great!

Episode One is up. :) It sets up the story and works its way nicely to our first confrontation between Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer. Oh, and there is a girl involved. And laundry. And a freeze ray.

Go see it, it’s great. :-D

The traffic for episode one was so high it crashed their server! And they called that a success. Dr. Horrible is also #1 on iTunes by the end of the day. I think it’s a success. 8-)

I still need to check this out. I’m surprised my wife hasn’t already made me watch them.

Jamie, unfortunately the free viewing is over. You can get the episodes at iTunes, and there is talk that there will be a DVD with plenty of extras later this year. :)

Well doesn’t that figure. I’m sure I’ll have no problem getting approval to spend the green.
