I will have to ask Ginger. I've been working a ton of hours lately and am really quite tired, so perhaps some of that is coming through. As far as the delay, no, I don't have any control over that. I am going to experiment with hosting my own podcasts and also a hosted service and will see which one works out better in the long run. If you get some pauses you can always rewind and restart.
